Atrazine works by blocking the photosynthesis process in weeds. After absorption, it spreads within the weed plant and gradually stops weed growth, resulting in drying and death of unwanted weeds.
Recommended only for maize and sugarcane crops as per registered agricultural usage guidelines.
Effective against broadleaf weeds such as Bathua, Chaulai, Makoi, and Krishnaneel along with grassy weeds including Makra and Sanwa.
Apply 1.0-1.5 kg per acre using 200-300 liters of water. It can be used as pre-emergence within 0-3 days after sowing or as early post-emergence when weeds are small and crop is at early growth stage.
Do not use in crops other than maize and sugarcane, as crop injury may occur. Avoid sowing sensitive broadleaf crops immediately after Atrazine application due to residual activity in soil.
