3. Irrigate gently and maintain adequate moisture without allowing waterlogging.
4. Transplant healthy seedlings into the main field when they reach the appropriate growth stage for local conditions.
5. Maintain suitable plant spacing to provide sufficient sunlight and air circulation.

Crop Management

• Grow the crop in fertile, well-drained soil with adequate sunlight.
• Apply irrigation according to soil moisture, weather and crop stage.
• Avoid prolonged waterlogging around the root zone.
• Use balanced fertilizers based on soil-test recommendations and local agricultural guidance.
• Monitor the field regularly for thrips, mites, aphids, fruit borers and common chilli diseases.
• Follow locally recommended integrated pest and disease management practices.

Harvesting

Harvest tender green fruits at the required marketable stage. For ripe chilli production, allow the fruits to develop their characteristic deep-red colour. Regular picking can help maintain fruit quality and encourage continued crop production.

Note: Crop duration, fruit characteristics and yield may vary according to climate, soil fertility, season, irrigation and overall crop management. Always follow the instructions printed on the seed packet and consult a local agriculture specialist for location-specific recommendations.
