How TEGATA Works in the Field

TEGATA works through two different modes of action. Thiamethoxam is absorbed by plant tissues and moves systemically, affecting insect feeding behavior by acting on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. Lambda-cyhalothrin acts on the insect nervous system by disturbing sodium channel function, resulting in paralysis. This dual mechanism supports effective pest control and helps delay resistance development when used responsibly.

Application Method & Timing

• Apply as a foliar spray using a knapsack sprayer.
• Prepare spray solution by mixing the product in a small amount of water first.
• Add remaining water with continuous agitation.
• First spray at early pest appearance or ETL stage.
• Repeat spray after 10–15 days if required.
