Mode of Action

Metarhizium anisopliae infects all life stages of insects, including eggs, larvae, pupae, nymphs, and adults. The spores attach to the insect skin, germinate, and penetrate the body, leading to mortality through feeding on the insect, leakage of internal contents, and toxins such as dextrusion released by the fungus. The insect body eventually gets covered with green mycelium and spores, potentially causing subsequent infections.

Mode of Application

• Foliar Spray: Apply at a dosage of 1L per acre in 150-200 liters of water. Ensure uniform application over the crop using a hand sprayer or power sprayer with an appropriate hollow cone nozzle for fine mist generation.

Important Recommendations/Directions for Use

• Timing: Apply at the time of pest appearance.
• Repeat Application: Reapply after 7 days if necessary. The number of applications depends on the level of pest infestation.
