Mohini Tomato Leaf Miner Lure – Smart Trap for Tuta absoluta Control

Mohini Tomato Leaf Miner Lure is a targeted pheromone-based pest control solution crafted to trap male adult moths of Tuta absoluta, commonly known as the Tomato Leafminer. This pest causes serious damage to tomato and related crops by mining into leaves, stems, and fruits, leading to yield loss and secondary infections.

Designed for High-Risk Crops

This lure is optimized for use in a water trap filled with soapy water and food attractant. It works by mimicking the scent of female moths to lure in male Tuta absoluta, disrupting their mating cycle and slowing infestation spread.

Where It Works Best

• Primary Crops: Tomato, Potato, Brinjal (Eggplant), Pepper (Capsicum), and Tobacco
• Recommended Trap: Water traps for optimal capture efficiency
• Usage Rate: 5 lures/acre for monitoring, 12 lures/acre for mass trapping

Key Advantages

1. Highly Specific: Attracts only Tuta absoluta, ensuring precision pest control
2. IPM-Ready: Works excellently with other methods, including Mitrasena Suraksha
3. No Chemical Residue: Safe for produce, handlers, and the environment
4. Reduces Crop Loss: Breaks pest reproduction cycle for visible reduction in damage
