FIPTOR 80 Insecticide – Dual Action Protection Against Soil Pests

FIPTOR 80 is a premix insecticide formulated with Fipronil 40% and Imidacloprid 40% WG. It is designed to manage destructive soil-dwelling pests, especially white grubs in sugarcane. The water dispersible granule formulation dissolves quickly in water, making spray preparation easy and uniform.

The combination of two different modes of action helps control pests effectively while reducing the risk of resistance. When applied at planting, FIPTOR 80 supports early crop establishment by protecting the root zone from pest damage.

How FIPTOR 80 Works

Fipronil disrupts nerve signal transmission in insects by blocking GABA-gated chloride channels, leading to overstimulation and paralysis. Imidacloprid acts on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, disturbing normal nerve communication. Together, these actions cause feeding to stop soon after exposure, followed by pest mortality.

• Systemic and contact activity for better coverage
• Longer persistence in soil under recommended use
• Quick dispersion and easy mixing in spray tank
