TAKE 44 Insecticide – Dual-Action Solution for Major Crop Pests

TAKE 44 is a combination insecticide formulated with Profenofos 40% EC and Cypermethrin 4% EC. This blend brings together two powerful chemistries — an organophosphate and a pyrethroid — to help manage a range of chewing and sucking pests commonly seen in field crops.

When applied as per recommended use, TAKE 44 offers effective contact and stomach action. It’s suitable for a variety of crops, especially where bollworm complex and similar pests threaten crop health and yield. Its formulation helps reach pests on both upper and lower leaf surfaces, supporting more uniform protection. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

How TAKE 44 Works

TAKE 44 combines two different modes of action. Profenofos inhibits acetylcholinesterase in insect nerve cells, interrupting nerve impulse transmission. Cypermethrin affects sodium channels in nerve cells, causing hyper-excitation of the nervous system. Together, these effects lead to rapid pest incapacitation and eventual control. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
