AGRIVENTURE NOVA BENZ is a broad-spectrum combination insecticide containing Novaluron 5.25% + Emamectin Benzoate 0.9% SC. It is specially formulated for the management of damaging Lepidopteran pests, including caterpillars, borers and diamondback moth.
The formulation combines the insect growth-regulating activity of Novaluron with the contact, stomach and translaminar action of Emamectin Benzoate. This dual mechanism disrupts larval development while rapidly stopping pest feeding, helping protect leaves, shoots, fruits and developing crop parts.

Novaluron is an insect growth regulator that mainly acts after ingestion. It inhibits chitin synthesis, preventing larvae from forming a normal new outer body covering during molting. The affected larvae fail to develop properly and eventually die.
Emamectin Benzoate works through contact and stomach action. It also penetrates leaf tissues through translaminar movement, helping control larvae feeding or hiding on the lower leaf surface. It disrupts neuromuscular activity, causing rapid feeding stoppage, paralysis and death.
Apply AGRIVENTURE NOVA BENZ when young caterpillars or early signs of feeding damage first appear. Application during the early larval stage generally provides better control because Novaluron acts during insect growth and Emamectin Benzoate quickly stops larval feeding.
It is used to control diamondback moth, caterpillars, fruit borers, shoot borers, pod borers and other Lepidopteran pests.
It contains Novaluron 5.25% and Emamectin Benzoate 0.9% in a Suspension Concentrate formulation.
The recommended dose is 2 ml per litre of water or approximately 30 ml in a 15-litre spray pump.
Novaluron inhibits chitin synthesis and prevents larvae from completing the molting process, resulting in abnormal development and death.
Yes. Emamectin Benzoate has translaminar movement, helping it reach caterpillars feeding or hiding on the lower leaf surface.
Apply at the first appearance of young larvae or fresh feeding damage for more effective pest control.
