Propargite interferes with the respiratory and metabolic systems of mites by disrupting oxidative phosphorylation. This rapidly reduces energy production, causing immediate feeding cessation, paralysis, and eventual death. Its contact and vapor activity also helps reach mites hidden inside dense foliage.
