HPM Garud is a non-selective, systemic herbicide containing Glyphosate 41% SL. It provides quick absorption, rapid translocation, and complete weed control by killing weeds from root to tip. Garud is trusted by farmers for managing grassy, broadleaf, and perennial weeds across crop and non-crop areas.
Active Ingredient: Glyphosate 41% SL
Formulation Type: Soluble Liquid (SL)
Mode of Action: Systemic – absorbed by leaves, translocated to roots, inhibits EPSPS enzyme (protein synthesis), resulting in plant death.
Once sprayed, Garud is absorbed rapidly by green leaves of weeds. It travels through the plant system and blocks 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS), an enzyme required for growth. This leads to gradual wilting and death of both annual and perennial weeds.
