Shri Ram Annual Ryegrass is an imported fodder grass seed of Lolium multiflorum, also known as Italian ryegrass. It is a fast-growing, cool-season grass that gives soft, leafy and highly palatable green fodder for cows and buffaloes during the winter months.
Annual ryegrass is valued for its high protein content and good digestibility, which make it one of the best-quality winter fodders. It establishes quickly, regrows after cutting and is best sown fresh every season for good fodder production.
