How the Combination Protects Crops

Thiamethoxam is absorbed by leaves and transported through plant tissues. Sucking insects receive the active ingredient while feeding on treated plant sap. It acts on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect nervous system, resulting in continuous nerve stimulation, paralysis and mortality.
