ORIENTAL is a selective post-emergence herbicide formulated with Bispyribac-sodium 10% SC. It is designed to manage a wide range of grassy weeds, sedges, and broad-leaf weeds in rice grown under nursery, transplanted, and direct-seeded conditions.
Early and timely weed control plays a crucial role in reducing crop-weed competition. ORIENTAL works effectively when applied at the recommended weed growth stage, helping rice plants utilize nutrients, water, and sunlight more efficiently.

ORIENTAL acts by inhibiting the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which is essential for amino acid and protein synthesis in weeds. Once absorbed through foliage, the herbicide moves to the growing points of weeds, stopping cell division and growth. Susceptible weeds gradually turn yellow, stop growing, and eventually die.
