Shivalik Rounder is a non-selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide containing Glyphosate 41% SL. It is designed for management of actively growing susceptible grasses, broadleaf weeds and other labelled weeds.
Glyphosate is absorbed mainly through green foliage and shoots and moves systemically within susceptible weeds toward growing points and underground plant tissues. It works by inhibiting the EPSPS enzyme, disrupting essential amino-acid synthesis and stopping normal weed growth.

Glyphosate inhibits the enzyme 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS) in susceptible plants. This interferes with synthesis of important aromatic amino acids including phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan.
After absorption through green plant tissue, Glyphosate moves systemically within the weed and progressively stops normal growth.
| Use Area / Crop | Target Weeds | Formulation Dose | Water Volume |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tea | Arundinella bengalensis, Axonopus compressus, Cynodon dactylon, Imperata cylindrica, Kalm grass, Paspalum scrobiculatum, Polygonum perfoliatum | 2–3 L/ha | Approx. 450 L/ha |
| Non-Cropped Area | Sorghum halepense and other labelled dicot & monocot weeds | 2–3 L/ha | Approx. 500 L/ha |
2–3 litres per hectare is approximately 0.81–1.21 litres per acre.
Always use the exact rate printed on the current Shivalik Rounder label.
Rounder is non-selective. Spray contacting green tissue of a desirable crop or plant may cause serious injury. Do not spray over standing crops unless that exact application is specifically permitted on the approved product label.
Glyphosate use in India is subject to evolving regulatory requirements. Use, sale and application should comply with the latest Central and State Government rules, approved product label and any requirements relating to trained personnel or Pest Control Operators.
Store Shivalik Rounder in its original sealed container in a cool, dry and secure place. Keep away from food, feed, drinking water, children, animals, direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Shivalik Rounder is a non-selective systemic post-emergence herbicide containing Glyphosate 41% SL.
Non-selective means the herbicide can damage or kill many types of susceptible green plants, including desirable plants contacted by the spray.
Glyphosate is absorbed through green foliage, moves systemically within susceptible weeds and inhibits the EPSPS enzyme required for essential amino-acid production.
The registered use pattern includes several grasses and broadleaf weeds such as Cynodon dactylon, Imperata cylindrica and Sorghum halepense, together with other labelled monocot and dicot weeds.
Yes. Glyphosate 41% SL is used as a post-emergence herbicide on actively growing target weeds.
Yes. It is a systemic herbicide that moves within susceptible plants after foliar absorption.
Do not spray it over desirable standing crops unless that exact application is specifically approved on the current product label. Rounder is non-selective and may severely injure contacted crop foliage.
Herbicide performance and legal use depend on the approved label, target weed, growth stage, weather, water quality, application technique and applicable regulations. Always use Shivalik Rounder strictly according to the current original label and Central/State Government requirements.
