Synergy Sara-71 is a non-selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide containing Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG. It helps control annual and perennial grassy weeds, broadleaf weeds and susceptible sedges. Sara-71 is absorbed through green weed foliage and translocated to growing tissues, helping manage weeds in tea plantations and approved non-crop areas.

Target Weeds

Doob Grass (Cynodon dactylon), Motha Grass (Cyperus rotundus), Digitaria sanguinalis, Ageratum conyzoides, Digera arvensis, Sida acuta, Paspalum conjugatum and other susceptible annual and perennial weeds.

Recommended Crops and Areas

Tea plantations and approved non-crop areas, including roadsides, railway tracks and other locations permitted by the product label. Avoid contact with desirable crops and vegetation.

Dosage and Application

Reference Dosage: 1200 g per acre for the same technical composition, as published on the manufacturer's reference page. Confirm the dosage on the original Sara-71 label before application.

Application Method: Post-emergence foliar spray on actively growing weeds with sufficient green foliage.

Application Timing: Apply when weeds are actively growing and follow label instructions for weather conditions and spray coverage.

Mode of Action

Glyphosate is a systemic herbicide that inhibits the EPSPS enzyme involved in the synthesis of essential aromatic amino acids. It is absorbed through foliage and transported within susceptible weeds, gradually stopping their growth and causing plant death.
