DIATRON is a wettable powder insecticide formulated with Diafenthiuron 50% WP. It is used to manage a wide range of sucking insect pests and mites that affect crop growth and yield. The product is applied as a foliar spray and is suitable for use in field crops, vegetables, and plantation crops where dense foliage makes pest control challenging.
DIATRON works gradually but effectively by disrupting vital energy processes in pests. Soon after exposure, insects stop feeding and movement reduces, helping prevent further crop damage. Its ability to reach pests hidden under leaf surfaces makes it especially useful in crops with thick canopy.

DIATRON acts as a pro-insecticide, which means it becomes active only after application. Once converted inside the pest body, it interferes with mitochondrial respiration by affecting energy-producing enzymes. This results in rapid paralysis after contact or feeding, followed by death due to starvation or fumigant action within a few days.
